Vesak Day 2025
Vesak Day is considered as an important international day in Buddhism, celebrated by Buddhists in all around the World.
It is the day to celebrate the most three important events in Buddhism, the Birth, the Enlightenment, and the Nirvana of the Buddha. All of these three events happened on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 6th lunar month.
In this day, the Buddhists often offer flowers and candles to pay their respects to the Buddha.
Wat Ananda Metyarama would like to invite all devotees to make candle offerings to Lord Buddha on 11 – 13 May 2025
The donation will be $100 per blessing candle.
There will be daily morning and evening chanting by our temple resident monks.
